The Intex Kool Splash Inflatable Waterslide is a fun addition for pool days and pool parties, especially considering the typical price range of about $100–$150.

Overall, it delivers a lot of entertainment value, but there are a few practical drawbacks worth mentioning. The main issue I’ve experienced is a small leak where the garden hose connects to the slide. While not a dealbreaker, it can be frustrating since it wastes water and can wash sand or debris off nearby pavers. It also means you need to keep an eye on your pool’s water level if you run it for extended periods.

I also tried running a hose line from the pool pump spigot to avoid lowering the pool level, but the water pressure wasn’t strong enough to properly power the sprayers at the top of the slide. Because of the connection leak, water loss is still something to be aware of during use.

Despite these issues, I still really like the slide. It’s easy to set up, fun for kids and guests, and adds a lot of value to pool gatherings. For the price, it’s a solid backyard upgrade and has been a hit during pool parties.

Overall, I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for an affordable way to add extra fun to your pool setup, as long as you’re okay managing a few small maintenance quirks.
